Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and First 100 ("First 100", "we", "us") — an independent solo project operated from Chicago, Illinois, United States. By creating an account or using the service you accept them.

1. What the service does

First 100 helps you find and reach potential customers. It reads a website you point it at and drafts a profile of your ideal customer; it searches public posts on third-party platforms and classifies which ones look like people with the problem you solve; and it helps you prepare social posts, including optional AI-drafted captions and images.

First 100 never publishes anything on your behalf. It does not connect to your social accounts, does not hold social credentials, and does not send messages, replies or DMs to anyone. Every post and every reply is copied and shipped by you, by hand. This is a deliberate design limit, not a temporary one.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
  • An account is for one person. Don't share your sign-in credentials.
  • You sign in with Google; keeping that Google account secure is your responsibility.
  • You're responsible for everything done through your account.

3. Trial, plans and payment

  • Free trial. New accounts get a 7-day trial with no card required. During the trial the service reveals a limited share of the potential customers it finds; the rest are shown only as counts.
  • Plans. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance at the prices shown on our pricing page. Each plan has usage limits (projects, AI image generations, finder runs) which are enforced by the service and stated on that page.
  • Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Applicable sales tax may be added at checkout.
  • Renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing portal; access continues to the end of the period you've already paid for.
  • Refunds. We don't refund partial months — the free trial exists so you can decide before paying. If something went genuinely wrong on our side, email us and we'll sort it out fairly.
  • Price changes. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Your existing period is never re-priced mid-term.
  • When a trial or subscription ends. Your data isn't deleted, but access to paid features is locked: found customers and mined vocabulary are hidden, AI generation is blocked, and images are served at reduced resolution. Subscribing restores everything.

4. Acceptable use

The service surfaces real people's public posts. That comes with obligations. You agree not to:

  • Use First 100 to harass, stalk, dox, threaten or target any individual or group.
  • Use it to build or sell a dataset about people, or to re-publish the content it surfaces.
  • Spam communities — including automated, bulk or templated replies, or posting the same promotional message across many venues.
  • Break the rules of any platform you post to. Their community rules are yours to follow, and most of them restrict self-promotion.
  • Use the service for anything illegal, or to promote fraud, malware, hate or sexual content involving minors.
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits or the trial gate, resell access, scrape the service, or reverse-engineer it.
  • Point the finder at communities in order to identify or profile specific named individuals.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, without a refund where the breach is serious. If we do, we'll tell you why.

5. Your content

Your projects, images, captions and customer profiles remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you — to store your content, process it, and send the relevant parts to the third-party AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy so the features you asked for can work.

You're responsible for what you publish. Make sure you have the rights to any image you upload, and that what you post is accurate and lawful where you post it.

6. AI-generated output

  • AI drafting is optional. You can use the service entirely with your own content.
  • AI output can be wrong, generic, or unintentionally similar to something else. Read it before you publish it — you are the editor, and it goes out under your name.
  • Classifications of who is or isn't a potential customer are the model's judgement, not fact. Nothing the service outputs is legal, financial or professional advice.
  • Some platforms require you to disclose AI-generated or AI-assisted content. Complying with that is your responsibility.

7. Third-party platforms and content

The finder surfaces posts that people published publicly on third-party platforms. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any of those platforms. We don't control that content, can't guarantee it's accurate or still online, and may lose access to a source at any time if a platform changes its terms or technology.

The service also depends on third parties to run at all — hosting, database, payments, AI providers and search providers. An outage or change at one of them can affect First 100.

8. Availability

First 100 is a solo project. There is no uptime guarantee and no service-level agreement. We aim to keep it running and to fix things quickly, but planned and unplanned downtime will happen. We may add, change or remove features; if we remove something significant, we'll give notice by email where we reasonably can.

9. Ending the agreement

  • You can stop using the service and delete your projects at any time.
  • Deleted projects sit in a recoverable trash for 60 days, then are permanently erased along with their images.
  • We may end the agreement if you materially break these terms, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we'll refund any unused prepaid period.
  • To have your account and remaining data deleted entirely, email support@first-100-users.com.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise you will get customers. The product is a tool that helps you find and reach people; the results depend on your product, your market and your effort.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or losses arising from a third-party platform's actions — including any restriction, suspension or ban of your account on a platform you post to. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we'll email you or show a notice in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top always reflects the current version.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state and federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois. Before filing anything, please email us — almost everything is faster to fix that way.
